On Feb 11, the third day of the lunar new year, it was finally sunny with a moderate breeze. The Donghui Park on Taiping Street was packed with tourists choosing and buying colored kites. These kites are designed in shapes of goldfishes, night owls, swallows, Beijing opera faces, butterflies and many other objects.
