Largest expedition to Everest

On March 23rd, China's largest scientific expedition to the Everest
region, with 25 members, set out from the Cold and Arid Regions
Environmental and Engineering Research Institute under the Chinese
Academy of Sciences in Lanzhou City. They will go to Tibet and meet over
ten Beijing scientists in Lhasa, and then climb towards Everest together.
The expedition will focus on air pollution. Moreover, they will set up an
automatic weather station at an altitude of 6,500 meters; it will be the
highest in the world.
