Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Our guide will pick you up at Beijing airport and transfer to the hotel.
The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.

Day 02: Beijing
Visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven.
The Beijing Duck Dinner is served at the original, century-old Quan Ju De
restaurant followed by a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan
Theatre. (B+L+D)

Day 03: Beijing
Visit the Badaling Great Wall. To avoid having lunch at shopping site
restaurants, you will be driven to have Sichuan food at a local popular
restaurant. Visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the afternoon. The
a la carte dinner is served at a famous Cantonese cuisine restaurant in
the Wangfujing area. (B+L+D)

Day 04: Beijing - Xian
Visit the Summer Palace and the lovely pandas in Beijing Zoo. Take a
flight to Xian and transfer to the hotel. A sumptuous buffet dinner will
be served for you at the hotel this evening. (B+L+D)

Day 05: Xian
Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. To avoid having the poor
food at the site, you will take highway back to downtown to have lunch at
a well-known Cantonese cuisine restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the
Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall. After you enjoy the local
speciality, the Dumpling Banquet, you will be entertained with the
marvelous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. (B+L+D)

Day 06: Xian
Visit the Provincial History Museum. After enjoying the a la carte lunch
at a local famous restaurant, visit the Great Mosque and a local family.

Day 07: Xian - Lhasa
Visit the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi
on the way to the airport. Take a flight to Lhasa  where the altitude is
3,650 meters above sea level. Transfer to the finest hotel in Lhasa and
acclimatize yourself to the high altitude in the afternoon. The a la
carte dinner will be arranged for you at a local best Sichuan cuisine
restaurant. (B+D)

Day 08: Lhasa
Visit the magnificent Potala Palace. After a western-style lunch, visit
the Sera Monastery  and the Norbulingka Park. Dinner is served at your

Day 09: Lhasa
Visit the Jokhang Temple and the thriving bazaar of the Barkhor Street.
After having a western-style lunch, go ahead to visit the Tibet Museum,
the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital and the Carpet Factory. Dinner
is served at your hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 10: Lhasa - Shigatse
Transfer to Shigatse. Stop off at the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake. Check in at

Day 11: Shigatse
Visit the Tashilunpo Monastery and the New Palace of Panchen. (B+L+D)

Day 12: Shigatse - Lhatse - Saga
Drive to Saga via Lhatse along Brahmaputra River. Visit the Lhatse city
on the way. (B+L+D)

Day 13: Saga - Paryang
Drive to Paryang. Enjoy the snow covered peaks and lots of rocky peaks
along the way. (B+L+D)

Day 14: Paryang - Manasarovar Lake - Tarchen
Drive to visit the Manasarovara Lake, a lake with compassion, tranquility
and bliss. Then head for Tarchen which is loated at the foot of the
majestic holy Mt. Kailash. (B+L+D)

Day 15: Tarchen - Mt. Kailash
Begin the trek around Mt. Kailash. (B+L+D)

Continue the trek around Mt. Kailash. (B+L+D)

Day 17:  Mt. Kailash - Tarchen
Continue the trek around Mt. Kailash. (B+L+D)

Day 18:  Tarchen - Tsada
Drive to Tsada. (B+L+D)

Day 19:  Tsada
Visit the Tsada Forest, the Ruins of Guge Kingdom and Tholing Monastery.

Day 20:  Tsada - Seng Ge Tsangpo
Drive to Shiquanhe and transfer to the hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 21:  Seng Ge Tsangpo -  Palgon  Lake - Seng Ge Tsangpoanhe
Drive to visit the Palgon  Lake and the Bird Island. Transfer back to
Shiquanhe. (B+L+D)

Ruins of Guge Kingdom, Tsada

Day 22:  Seng Ge Tsangpo - Gertse
Drive to Gertse. You may see the wild animals along the way. (B+L+D)

Day 23:  Gertse - Tsochen - 22 Highway Maintenance Squad
Drive to 22 highway maintenance squad and stay here. (B+L+D)

Day 24:  22 Highway Maintenance Squad - Lhatse - Shigatse
Drive to Shigatse and check in at the hotel. (B+L+D)

Accommodation: Shigatse Hotel

Day 25: Shigatse - Lhasa
Drive to Lhasa and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

Day 26: Lhasa - Shanghai
Visit a Tibetan Family. Take a flight to Shanghai and transfer to the
hotel. (B+L)

Day 27: Shanghai
Visit the Shanghai Museum and the Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, take a
cruise tour on the Huangpu River. The farewell dinner is served at
Central Hotel, whose restaurant Wang Bao He has a history of around 260
years and is the best place to serve Shanghai Cuisine. The memorable
dinner will be followed by the Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai
Centre Theatre. (B+L+D)
