This is a China highlight tour, the most important parts are displayed in
front of you by a high profile, yes, there are lots and lots of treasures
to be found in almost every corner of the country and wherever you look,

Day by Day Itinerary

Great Wall, Beijing

Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Our guide will pick you up at Beijing airport and transfer to the hotel.
The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.

Accommodation: The Peninsula Palace  - Deluxe Room

Day 02: Beijing
Visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven.
The Beijing Duck Dinner is served at the original, century-old Quan Ju De
restaurant followed by a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan
Theatre. (B+L+D)

Accommodation: The Peninsula Palace  - Deluxe Room

Day 03: Beijing
Visit the Badaling Great Wall. To avoid having lunch at shopping site
restaurants, you will be driven to have Sichuan food at a local popular
restaurant. Visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb. (B+L)

Day 04: Beijing - Xian
Terracotta warriors, Xian

Visit the Summer Palace and the Lama Temple. Take a flight to Xian and
transfer to the hotel. A sumptuous buffet dinner will be served for you
at the hotel this evening. (B+L+D)

Accommodation: Hyatt Rengency Hotel  - Executive Room

Day 05: Xian
Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. To avoid having the poor
food at the site, you will take highway back to downtown to have lunch at
a well-known Cantonese cuisine restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the
Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall. After you enjoy the local
speciality, the Dumpling Banquet, you will be entertained with the
marvelous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. (B+L+D)

Day 06: Xian
Visit the Provincial History Museum. After enjoying the a la carte lunch
at a local famous restaurant, visit the Great Mosque and a local family.

Day 07: Xian - Guilin
Visit the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi
on the way to the airport. After lunch, take a flight to Guilin and
transfer to the hotel. Enjoy Ethnic Songs and Dances at Lijiang Theatre
after dinner. (B+L+D)

Yulong River in Yangshuo

Day 08: Guilin - Yangshuo
Enduring memories are created today as you cruise down the Li River to
Yangshuo. Transfer to the hotel. A short bicycle trip to the countryside
will then be arranged. You will visit a local villager's home to
experience the farmer's lifestyle there. Alternatively, you can take our
electric car instead of taking bicycles. (Tips: Since the lunch on the Li
River cruise can not meet your expectation, TCG suggests that you have
enough breakfast at the hotel today.) (B+L)

Day 09: Yangshuo - Guilin
Morning is free. Return to Guilin, visit the Reed Flute Cave, the Seven
Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill in the afternoon. (B+L)

Accommodation: Sheraton Hotel   - Deluxe Room, Riverside

Day 10: Guilin - Chongqing
Take a morning flight to Chongqing. After having a rich buffet lunch at
4-star hotel, Holiday Inn Yangtze, visit the Panda House in Chongqing
Zoo, the Residence of General Joseph W. Stilwell and Ci Qi Kou. Check in
at the deluxe Century Star cruise ship. Your memorable Yangtze River tour
begins at 23:30 as the ship sets sail. (B+L)

Day 11: Chongqing - Fengdu
Disembark for an excursion to the Snowy Jade Cave. The Captain's Welcome
Party will be held in the evening. (B+L+D)

Day 12: Badong - Xiling Gorge - Sandouping
Fantastic Yangtze Three Gorges tour

Sailing through the Qutang Gorge and later the Wu Gorge. Disembark at
Wushan Daning River for an excursion to the Shennong Stream. In the
afternoon, continue sailing into western section of the Xiling Gorge. The
Farewell Party tonight invites you to perform dancing or musical
instruments with the cruise staff. (B+L+D)

Day 13: Yichang - Shanghai
Disembark for an excursion to the under constructed Three Gorges Dam.
Then pack your luggage and complete check-out procedures. After having
lunch at the Yichang city, visit the Chinese Sturgeon Museum if time
permits. Take a flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

Festival Yuyuan Garden, Shanghai

Day 14: Shanghai
Visit the Shanghai Museum and the Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, take a
cruise tour on the Huangpu River. The farewell dinner is served at
Central Hotel, whose restaurant Wang Bao He has a history of around 260
years and is the best place to serve Shanghai Cuisine. The memorable
dinner will be followed by the Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai
Centre Theatre. (B+L+D)

Day 15: Departure from Shanghai
